Call for Papers

Studies and Scientific Researches. Economics Edition (SCECO) invites researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts for publication in upcoming regular and special issues.

As an open-access, peer-reviewed journal focused on economics, business, and public policy, with an emphasis on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), SCECO welcomes contributions that address both theoretical developments and applied research with practical relevance.

We particularly encourage submissions aligned with the following emerging and interdisciplinary areas:

• Post-crisis economic transformation
  Analysis of structural changes and policy responses following financial, health, or geopolitical crises.

• Digital ecosystems and smart public policy
  Research on how digital infrastructures, platforms, and innovation ecosystems influence policy design, public services, and socio-economic performance.

• Circular economy and just transition
  Studies exploring sustainability models, green innovation, and equitable transition strategies in economic systems.

• AI, big data, and decision-making in governance
  Investigations into how emerging technologies shape public administration, evidence-based policymaking, and strategic management.

• Comparative research in Central and Eastern Europe
  Cross-country analyses, regional diagnostics, and case studies that highlight institutional reform, development paths, or integration dynamics within CEE.

We also welcome interdisciplinary papers at the intersection of economics with technology, sustainability, sociology, and law, provided they bring clear academic and policy-oriented insights.
