Author Guidelines

GENERAL INFO

Submissions:
- Ensure your submissions align with the aims and scope of the journal.
- All paper submissions should be made through the journal's website at [sceco.ub.ro](https://sceco.ub.ro).
- All correspondence, including the Editor’s decision and revision requests, will be conducted electronically via the journal system.
- Papers must be written in U.S. English and must be original.
- Papers that meet the journal's aims and scope will undergo a blind review. Authors must provide files free of author-identifying information to facilitate this process.
- Contact details must be entered during the online submission process and included on a title page not shared with reviewers.

REGULAR STRUCTURE OF THE PAPER

1. Title:
   - Must be concise and informative.
   - Avoid abbreviations and formulae where possible as titles are often used in information-retrieval systems.

2. Author Names and Affiliations:
   - Present the authors' affiliations (where the actual work was done).
   - Provide the e-mail address of each author.

3. Corresponding Author:
   - Clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing, publication, and post-publication.
   - The corresponding author must keep their contact details up to date.

4. Abstract:
   - A concise and factual abstract of 200 to 250 words is required.
   - The abstract should briefly state the purpose of the research, principal results, and major conclusions.
   - References should be avoided in the abstract, but if essential, cite the author(s) and year(s).
   - Avoid non-standard or uncommon abbreviations, but if essential, define them at their first mention in the abstract.

5. Keywords:
   - Provide five to seven keywords.
   - Avoid repeating words from the title.
   - Use only abbreviations firmly established in the field.
   - Separate keywords with semicolons.
   - These keywords will be used for indexing purposes.

6. Introduction:
   - Clearly state the purpose of the research.
   - Provide background information and the context of the study.
   - Highlight the research questions or hypotheses.

7. Literature Review:
   - Summarize relevant previous research.
   - Identify gaps in the existing literature.
   - Position your research within the context of existing studies.

8. Methodology:
   - Describe the research design, methods, and procedures used.
   - Provide details about the sample, data collection, and analysis techniques.
   - Ensure reproducibility of the study.

9. Results:
   - Present the findings of the study in a clear and logical manner.
   - Use tables, figures, and charts to illustrate the results.
   - Avoid interpretation of the results in this section.

10. Discussion:
    - Interpret the results in the context of the research questions or hypotheses.
    - Compare your findings with previous studies.
    - Discuss the implications, limitations, and potential areas for future research.

11. Conclusion:
    - Summarize the main findings of the study.
    - Highlight the significance and contributions of the research.
    - Suggest practical applications and directions for future research.

12. References:
    - Footnotes should be kept to a minimum and numbered consecutively.
    - Follow the styles for in-text citations and final references as outlined in the Journal Template.

13. Acknowledgements:
    - Mention any funding sources or contributions from individuals or institutions that are not listed as authors but contributed to the research.

14. Appendices (if applicable):
    - Include supplementary material that supports the main text but is too detailed for inclusion in the main sections.

PAPER FORMAT
The paper must be in MS Word format, Size A4, Margins: Top 2 cm, Bottom 2 cm, Right/Left 3 cm, Font: Garamont. Find all this within the file Journal Template.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
Authors and readers agree that the publisher of the journal may send them materials related to the subject of the journal from time-to-time.
