The article deals with one of the most important sectors in the European Union, the automotive sector seen from the economic as well as from the industrial perspective. As the economic efficiency is usually measured in competition parameters an important part is dedicated to the competition on the >motor vehicle market in and outside the European Union, on the Global market. One of the most important process in auto market field is also brought to attention. Furthermore the evolution of automotive market in the European Union and Romania during the economic crisis are analyzed using clearing figures .Downloads
